About the Event
In our Basic Trauma Care course, you’ll learn four effective techniques that help stop the loss of blood from a traumatic injury:
(1) How to apply pressure to a wound;
(2) How to correctly apply various commercial tourniquets
(3) How to make an improvised tourniquet with everyday items
(4) How to pack and wrap a wound to control bleeding
This class is family friendly. We believe mindset, preparation, and efficient techniques are essential to survival. Whether you are a responsible armed or unarmed citizen, we all face the risk of accidents, natural disasters, and unfortunately, violence. Be prepared and set yourself up for success by becoming proficient in these life saving skills.
We will have IFAK's (individual first aid kits) available to purchase at the conclusion of training.
